On March 24, 2016 Southern California lenders, non-profits and members of the community came together to celebrate AHC s 25th year anniversary. We honored longtime community activist and 20 year AHC Board Director Alan Woo with the spark plug award. In partnership with Orange County Community Housing Corporation and Clearinghouse CDFI we recognized Robert A. Johnson for his lifetime work addressing fair housing with the establishment of a scholarship. Lastly, Jim Yacenda (FHLBSF) and AHC Board Director Elsa Monte (Pacific Western Bank) concluded the evening with the announcement of the Spirit of Housing Award recognizing Melody Head of the Federal Reserve Bank for her engagement with financial institutions and diverse leaders to develop affordable housing solutions in low-wealth communities of Southern California.
