Located inside the Cape Cod National Seashore, they are simply not making beach houses like this anymore.

Boasting two, ocean-facing, trex, wraparound decks, Solymar offers one of the most breathtaking, panoramic views of the North Atlantic.

The cottage has two floors and is described as an "upside down house," the top floor having the kitchen, the dining area and the living room. It offers the best ocean view. Open the doors and let the breeze blow through while you step out to your private deck to enjoy watching the sun rise out of the ocean. If it gets too warm
for you, turn on the air conditioning.
It doesn't get any better than this. A flat panel, Satellite TV as well as Internet access are also provided.

This is a three bedroom, 2 bath
cottage located on a quiet, dead-end

street. It has a brand new air conditioning system servicing the upstairs living room. The bedrooms are on the lower level and they have fans that keep them comfortable. The first bedroom has one queen-size bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds and the third bedroom has one double bed. There are two full bathrooms, one on each first floor, that were totally renovated in 2014. There is also an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water. The kitchen was totally remodeled in 2014 and now has all stainless appliances and granite counter tops with a 4 burner electric stove with oven and broiler, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, blender, pots and pans and dishes. The living room floor has been refinished in 2015.

Outdoors, there is a gas Weber BBQ grill. There is also off street parking at the cottage.

Solymar is about 200 steps from the top of the dune that leads down to the ocean beach at LeCount Hollow in the Cape Cod National Seashore.

This beach house rents from Sunday to Sunday in season with a weekly price that ranges from $1,350 to $7,400.00 depending on the season (see below).

“Everything we wanted in a vacation wrapped up in Sol Y Mar!”

Well, sadly our wonderful week has come to an end. Everyone agreed that yours is the best place we have ever rented. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! The views from the living room and decks are amazing! We ate almost every meal out at the picnic table on the upper deck, so that we could take in the magnificent ocean view, and hear the waves. The walk to the beach is short, and includes a long stairway, and therefore we never needed a car. The beautiful beach is expansive and clean, with a good surf most of the time. The cottage is gorgeous, with all the amenities we needed, and the beds were so comfortable, we slept better than we do at home. We would rent again in September if there were a week available. --Donna P

Solymar made for an awesome holiday. We loved the sea views from the deck and the living room. We even saw a passing whale though the large picture windows and we enjoyed watching birds in the garden. The ready access to the beach was also great. The house was very clean, tidy and comfortable. It had everything that we required. WiFi access was good. Allowing our daughter to bring her 2 cats was helpful. The BBQ was handy and the nearby shops had what we wanted. The location was great for whale watching trips from Provincetown and visits to the Audubon reserve near Wellfleet. Armand was so helpful, both before and during our stay. We tried a lot of excellent seafood following Armand’s recommendations. We booked Solymar from Scotland without any difficulty and we would recommend both Surfside Cottages and Solymar to other travellers. --John369, Banff, UK

The location was great, quiet and peaceful and the views from the upper deck was breath taking. The sunrises were gorgeous. Solymar had everything you could want in a vacation home. We actually packed and brought more than we needed to. Thanks to Armand the Manager who was most helpful from planning our stay and through our arrival. Solymar is an immaculately clean cottage with the most spectacular view of the ocean blazing sunrises. The house is equipped with every appliance you'd need everything is new of good quality. We cooked all our dinners in, found Mac's Fish Market on the Pier to have excellent seafood. Van Rensselaer's had a wonderful selection of breakfasts. Being there early in the season gave us the beach to ourselves where we enjoyed walking, especially with the tide out, flying kites. On the one rainy day we had, we watched kite boarders from our living room! Armand Lisa couldn't have been better hosts; extremely cordial and available for any questions that arose. We could see dolphins and seals in the ocean right out our living room windows! Solymar offered a spacious open concept living room and kitchen area on the top floor. There was also a full bathroom on this level. The home was very modern with all new appliances. It had a beautiful deck that wrapped around the front of the house with exceptional views of the ocean. The lower part of the home had 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and we had a nice view from our bedroom as well. Solymar was a very comfortable home to spend the week at and it was only a 2 minute walk to the beach-it's so close. We look forward to staying at Solymar again! --Tracy F, Gardiner, ME

“More than we expected!”

The house and property were absolutely beautiful, but they couldn't even compare to the views from the upper deck. We found the house beautifully renovated from top to bottom, with anything we could possibly need. We stayed at this house with 6 adults, and 1 medium dog, and we all fit comfortably, though that is definitely the maximum! The location is great, just a short 25 minute drive to P-Town, and also minutes away from several restaurants/liquor/convenience stores. Our only regret was that the week we traveled ended up being quite windy/chilly. We knew we wouldn't be able to get much beach time in, but we were hoping to spend some more time on the great decks. Even still, sitting inside at the dining room table offered us amazing views through the floor to ceiling windows. We were so pleasantly surprised with this rental, it is always scary booking something online that you've never seen, but in this case there is nothing to be afraid of! Solymar is a lovely house in an excellent location and with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean that will take your breath away. The house is literally steps from the beach and has every amenity: outdoor shower, dishwasher, washer and dryer, satellite wi-fi/television and air conditioning.
