If you time it right, you could be in Santa Ponsa for the island’s biggest festival, which takes place during the first two weeks of September. The Fiesta Rey En Jaume involves street parades, concerts, beach parties, medieval market stalls and a re-enactment of the battle that ended Moorish rule in 1229. It culminates in a huge fireworks display and a real party atmosphere – if you can make it to Santa Ponsa in September, this is not to be missed.

• All Inclusive The All Inclusive package includes buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals for customers on All Inclusive are taken at sister complex, Plazamar opposite. Drinks and snacks served onsite at Jutlandia Apartments. Snacks are available at selected times between meals for a minimum of 3hrs per day. Local wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks are available for a minimum of 12hrs per day.
