Recommended Reviews for Marquis at Round Rock

I have lived in quite a few apartments in my life and you always worry about so many things when moving into a new one; especially if you are not from the area. Hands down. this is my best apartment living experience.

I'm not saying there aren't a couple cons.  I will list those, but let me start with why we chose this complex.; price, safety and location.

With the housing shortage in the Austin/Round Rock area, I was pleasantly pleased  to get a beautiful, upgraded apartment for such a great price. Secondly,after checking with the the police department, I found out that out of all the complex's in the area, it had the least amount of visits by police.  An added plus was that because it is so close, but not in earshot, of the 35 and 45, it is easy to get where you need to go.  It doesn't take 15 minutes to get to the highway.

Finally and most importantly, the management takes care of business.  Every single request has been taken care of immediately.  They keep the property clean and actually care about their tenants.

I don't mean pretending to care either.  I have an older neighbor with health issues that walks his dog every day and I hadn't seen him in a few days.  Of course it was Sunday and the office was closed, so I called their after hours number. (Very quick response time.)  I was so worried and begged maintenance to check on him.  My prayers were heard because Amanda appeared on her day off.  He was fine, but I can not say enough about the management and maintenance team working for Marquis at Round Rock.

As promised, the CONS/actually only one I can come up with.

This goes directly to UPPER management.  Hopefully CWS Apartments has someone that handles social media.

Understand that water is by usage, but the additional fees that your tenants discover when they go to sigh their leases do not go unnoticed. and are seen by many of us as just another contract we signed too quickly with hidden fees and costs that were not fully disclosed when discussing monthly rent.  It does not make you look good as a corporation and could even be seen as false advertising.

CWS shouldn't say rent is XXX, and then add on $5.00 for trash.  $10.00-$20.00 for "pet rent" when you already have a deposit for the pet. $2.00 for pest control and $4.00 for administrative fee.  That is not an honest way of doing business. It is just taking money from people, most of whom are living pay check to pay check. It's not right and this is your call out.  No.  This is not the norm in the industry unless we allow it to be.
