Finding an apartment in NYC is an incredibly frustrating and stressful experience so my condolences to any of you that have gone or are currently going through that process. That said, my three roommates and I, weary after countless apartment viewings and interactions with pushy brokers trying to sell us on places we didn't want, were relieved to have had such a positive experience working with Bill Stewart and Will Rosa. We found them not only incredibly helpful in finding a place that perfectly fit our needs, but they were also courteous and professional.

After reading these negative reviews we were of course hesitant to work with New York City Apartments, but after completing our lease signing yesterday we were very pleasantly surprised. We got exactly what we wanted, and Bill and Will fought hard to made sure we got whatever deals were possible.

This establishment is a joke. I spoke with Stuart in December about an apartment and he made it sound like some beautiful apartment in the ad and over the phone. He made me come in the office and I felt awkward being in there by myself with him, as there was no one else in this office. He brags about how long he has been renting out apartments and that he was well connected with landlords. We went to the apartment and it didn't even look like what the ad portrays. As an added bonus, he pointed out that on the ad it says there is a negotiable fee which means there is a brokers fee. I don't understand how craigslist let them put up ads in the section where it is supposed to be 'no fee'. Then he tries to tell me there are other apartments that were completely out of my budget. Then tells me that I have to be realistic about what I can get in nyc especially with the type of job I have.  He tried to be nice about it but you could tell there is something shady about him. He completely wasted my time, made me feel awkward and insulted me. I wish I would have seen these other reviewers before I even walked into this office.
