Arc 1950 is a purpose-built village in one of the most dynamic ski resorts in France. These spacious apartments surround the village square and pedestrianised streets.

One of 12 Pierre Vacances Premium Properties, the 5-star Arc 1950 Residence is located in an entirely pedestrianised ski-in, ski-out village in a wooded setting beneath Arc 2000. Luxurious spacious apartments are spread across the convenient and pretty village and, as part of the 425km Paradiski ski area, a holiday in Arc 1950 is as relaxing or as adventurous as you'd like it to be.

Arc 1950 has 700 apartments to suit almost any group size, ranging from studios for two people to superior four-bedroom apartments for 10. All apartments have a balcony or terrace overlooking either the village and the ski area or Mont Blanc and the Tarentaise valley. Stylishly modern inside, the apartments are furnished with warm welcoming colours, lots of natural wood and fully equipped kitchens with plenty of storage. There are also 43 apartments available for people with reduced mobility.

Food Drink

Arc 1950 offers flexible dining options allowing you the opportunity to enjoy the space that self-catering gives with the convenience of a hotel. Within the Arc 1950 village there are 10 restaurants which you can dine at on a half-board basis, including traditional French, Italian and Mexican. If half-board doesn't appeal, a bed and breakfast option is available, or you can cater for yourself, buying all you need in the local supermarket. For added convenience, you can email your shopping list in advance and have it delivered, or shop in resort and take advantage of the home delivery service.

Throughout the Arc 1950 residence there are outdoor heated swimming pools, and well being areas including saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, plus a Deep Nature spa with treatment rooms and fitness gym facilities.

Arc 1950 is at the bottom of Les Arcs' highest peak, the Aiguille Rouge, and is a convenient base to explore the Les Arc's open bowls and more challenging tree runs. The terrain covers a vertical from 3,225m to 1,200m and is best suited to adventurous intermediates with extensive cruising red and blue runs to enjoy. Alternatively, you can ski to the Vanoise Express to get to La Plagne ski slopes. Together the two resorts offer a combined total of 425km of piste skiing. There's also an impressive terrain park between Arc 1600 and Arc 1800, a speed skiing piste and a speed riding school.

PSPs, board games, books, newspapers and magazines are all available to borrow from the 24-hour reception, and Wi-Fi is available throughout Arc 1950 free of charge. There is a welcoming lounge to relax in with an open fire. If needed, baby equipment can be borrowed from reception too, including travel cots, baby chairs, changing mats and baths, and foldaway pushchairs.

The TGV arrives at Bourg St Maurice station, 27km away, or a seven-minute funicular ride to Arc 1600 then a free shuttle service to Arc 1950. The nearest airports are Chambery (110km), Geneva (200km) or Lyon (200km).
