1. Visit the reservations page to select an RV available during your dates. Book securely online or call (623) 221-1161 8 AM-5 PM MST for live booking.
2. Once we have received the RV reservation, we will contact you by phone or email and arrange to have you fill out and sign rental contract, rental policies form, and credit card authorization form.
3. Once we have received signed copies of the RV reservation from, rental policies form, and reservation deposit, your rental dates will be secured. Your balance is due to Going Places RV Rentals two weeks prior to rental date.
4. We will then contact you to arrange time and location for picking up the RV.
5. Enjoy your trip!

Is RV Renting the Best Option?

If you're a fan of the outdoors, but not necessarily psyched about making your sleeping arrangements on the ground, you'll more than likely want an RV for your next outdoor adventure. With the all the comforts and amenities of a kitchen and luxury of a bed, you're guaranteed to have a relaxed camping trip or a day trip anywhere in our great state of Arizona.

However, the question still remains, is RV renting better than buying? If the answer to this question isn't at first obvious to you (we’ll help you out though, it’s renting), it's because you’ll need to ask yourself a few other questions, first:

• How often will you be using the RV?
• What exactly are your needs for the current/future trips?
• Do you have a convenient location to store it?

Here are a few crucial things to consider when pondering each of these variables.

How Often Will You Use It?

This is the very first and most significant question to ask when considering renting an RV from us vs. buying one.

When it comes to purchasing, you will want to sit down and do the math to figure if you'll use it enough to justify the cost. For some this may be a non-issue, for others it's a primary consideration to focus on.

Another aspect to contemplate is whether you live in an area where the seasons dictate your outdoor adventures. If you have to put up with many months of snow, you likely won't be getting choice use out of it.

Rent: If you are going on a single trip or if you live in an place where seasons dictate your recreation/camping schedule.
Buy: If you're driving cross-country or reside in a region where you can camp most months of the year.

Do You Have a Location to Store It?

Standard, or mid-size, RVs can vary from 20 feet to 25 feet in length; this recreational vehicle will not sit comfortably in the average backyard or driveway. Because of all this, a crucial question to answer is whether you'll have enough storage available for it all. If so, is it free or will it be a drain on your hard earned money every month?

Rent: If you have nowhere to keep the vehicle or don't want to pay monthly storage charges.
Buy: If you don't have to store it that often, or you have free storage, or are willing to pay the storage costs.

How Big of a Party Will be Going?

For this trip, and many of those in the future, you need to calculate the amount of people you'll be making the trip with. RV's come in various sizes ranging from compact or Class B – which is van sized – to large or Class A – which can be 30 feet long sometimes, at most. The smaller vehicle may be more manageable for storage, handling and price; however, it can really only fit three people comfortably.
