Looking for an apartment?

Unfortunately Hoas can not offer housing to all applicants. Here are some tips for house-hunting outside Hoas:

*Other apartment providers are etc. www.vvo.fi and www.sato.fi

*Students of Aalto university can apply for housing at Aalto University Student Union, see www.ayy.fi

If you do not have an apartment before arriving in Finland, be sure to make a reservation for a hostel early enough! The hostels are often fully booked in early September.

*Hostel Academica is a hostel owned by the student union of University of Helsinki. Hostel Academica is located at Kamppi, very close to the Hoas office. www.hostelacademica.fi

*Some hostels offer an opportunity to stay for the whole semester.

* Also Stadion Hostel gives an opportunity for students to stay for the whole semester.
