Golden Sands is a modern and esteemed Bulgarian summer resort, located at a distance of only 17 km (some 10 miles) from the largest city on the Black Sea coast – Varna. The international airport of Varna (recently renovated and extended) is 25 km (ca. 17 miles) from the resort.

Golden Sands is a family-friendly resort. In recent years, some of the old-time hotels were demolished and modern apart-hotels were built there instead, offering accommodation, services and facilities for an unforgettable holiday. A growing majority of tourists prefer renting an apartment to traditional hotel rooms. There are large swimming pools and playgrounds near the apart-hotels, as well as convenient parking lots if arriving by car.
