I am looking to relocate to Northern NJ while commuting back and forth to work in NYC. My first choice is North Brunswick due to the beautiful townhome communities I have seen as I am very interested in buying a home there. However I would like to rent first and explore my options of other places a little closer to nyc ( less than an hour away). I am currently looking for somewhere that is closer to public transportation (train or bus) good school systems and affordable. I was told to consider Elmwood Park, Maplewood and Secaucus which are all close but I have been unable to find any townhome rentals. Any help would be appreciated.
