West Hollywood is a city in Los Angeles County. California, that is west of the Hollywood district and east of the city of Beverly Hills. Hollywood Hills and the Fairfax district border West Hollywood. Close to iconic Hollywood tourist destinations, such as Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Hollywood sign, West Hollywood is a hotspot for arts and culture in its own right. Called WeHo by locals, the city is well-known for its annual Halloween blowout and its large population of gay residents.

West Hollywood is home to the famous Sunset Strip, a 1.5-mile stretch of Sunset Boulevard dotted by nightclubs, chic shops and restaurants. It's also close to many commerce and entertainment hubs. Renting in West Hollywood puts you 10 miles from downtown Los Angeles and Santa Monica. San Diego is a three-hour drive away, while Palm Springs is a bit closer at just over two hours away.

The only museum in Los Angeles devoted to contemporary art, MOCA features rotating exhibits of influential art and architecture used in design since 1940. Coast Playhouse. This 99-seat theater presents contemporary theater performances primarily geared toward the LGBTQ community. West Hollywood Design District. Galleries and interior design shops mix with tony restaurants and eateries in this stylish and artsy shopping district.
