You'll love this brand new ground floor apartment. Recently remodeled by its architect and interior designer owners, it is perfect for families or two couples. Located in an historic district right downtown, anything you could want is minutes away. There is a Metro (subway) station just four blocks down the street. Easy access to the monuments and Mall, Capitol Hill, China Town, the Central Business District - you name it.

Our neighborhood has many trendy restaurants, bars and coffee houses all within a couple blocks walk. There are a few 'city sized' grocery stores and organic markets within a couple blocks. Let us know what you are looking for and we can help point you in the right direction! There is the quaint Anna Cooper Circle at the end of our street (perfect for reading with a cup of coffee) as well as a large park with a playground and separate dog section just a block away. The swings are a hit with our kiddo. The apartment is brand new down to the studs. HVAC system and all appliances are top notch. It is comfortably furnished with stylish Mid-Century and contemporary furniture, but is still very child friendly (we have a toddler so we know :-) All of the linens and bedding are of the type we would use ourselves - we think you will enjoy. Cable TV and high speed Wifi are included. While the apartment is well constructed and there is insulation in the ceiling, like in all garden level apartments you may occasionally hear footsteps or noise from the unit above. There is a strict quiet policy for both units between 11pm and 7am to avoid disturbances. If there is ever a problem please notify us immediately.

The apartment's kitchen is well equipped and if there is anything you need that is not there, please ask. We live a short distance away and can be easily reached when needed. For larger groups, the upstairs unit is also available on Homeaway / VRBO.
