CONS

building is very old and needs to be re-done

window are leaking air, staff patch it up with tape every year which doesn't help.

air condition too leaks air from the outside.

ventilators in the kitchen & bath are useless.

air conditions are very old. in efficient. noisy and  dusty.

flooring is really bad, in summer the wooden tiles come out.

staff replaced them with new ones of different shade which now looks patchy.

my apartment had a very cramped up kitchen

there are many water shutdowns & repairs.

washer/dryers in the lobby are a total disaster.

lots of roaches.

path tain newport to 33rd street is totally cramped up.

A lot of new luxury apartments(with washer/dryer) offering available at similar rents.

so newport offers 1,2 months free for new residents but existing residents aren't eligible for it (even if u are moving to another apartment)

Happened to speak to Gabriella Perrotta who is the property administrator, she was rude even though I am a client.

PROS

building staff are very nice.

newport station is a 4 minute walk.

apartments have gas stove

hot water & gas are fee.

elevators are reliable.

maintenance requests are promptly supported .
