This quaint town, snug between I-45 and the Hardy Toll Road, is located a little over 20 miles north of the city of Houston.

Its deep and rich history began with the settlement of the Orcoquisac Indians before it slowly transitioned into a booming railroad town. However, trouble hit during the Great Depression, and as a result, the town lay dormant and static until the seventies and eighties, when interest in the town was renewed and life was slowly breathed back into it. Today, Spring is still a small town that prides itself on its heritage.

Top draws are Splashtown (the only amusement park in the Houston metropolitan area) and the Barbara Bush Library.

The Texas Crawfish and Music Festival is billed as one of the most anticipated festivals in the Houston area. The festival showcases Cajun cuisine and music in country, rock, and zydeco styles. The town is also home to an array of antique shops, a Civil War museum, and a town historical museum.
