My entire family has been residing at The Huntington for the last 12+ years. It is a very nice apartment complex and in a convenient location. There's many shops in the area so you'll always have something to do. The maintenance service for these apartments is superb and they will always tend to your needs in a quick and efficient manner.

My boyfriend and I have lived in The Huntington Apartments for about 5 months, I didn't have any complaints at first.

Things I love:

-We bought the studio about 3 weeks before we made our out of state move and it was kept very clean in that period of time.

-I love how close the location is to the freeways, various food options, and shopping.

-The layout of the studio makes it seem very spacious for only being 535 sqft

-The pool is always a blast and there's occasionally Taco Tuesday in the pool area (not free)

-The workout area(s) are very nice and I love playing pool in the leasing office

-All my neighbors are SO nice! Everyone I meet is so sweet and I love it

Things I don't love:

-It's ridiculously expensive! (1,446/mo for a studio) when I called before touring the apartments I was quoted $100 less, however, that changed because I was told that the rent goes up every 3 days which I find outstanding. (Utilities not included)

-Noise! Every night around 10ish, there is loud banging outside (almost sounds like a garbage truck or thunder) and it's terrifying. I also just must be too close to the pool because I can here people screaming and laughing at night when I try to sleep.

-Constant construction, literally all the time. Repaving the roads in the apartment, fixing stuff on the streets, it's a nightmare trying to leave the complex.

-Parking. Not that any apartment complex has glorious parking, but most likey your parking spot will not be anywhere near your unit. And forget about getting an extra spot, my boyfriend parks on the hill, in the street. Good exercise I guess being parked a couple miles from your apartment.

-Spiders, SO many spiders. (Including egg sacks) Be warned. I had bought my own bug spray which didn't solve the problem, therefore I went to the leasing office to tell them about the problem. I was put on the list of people that pest control would visit. Never showed up. Meantime, I am killing several spiders DAILY. Pest control came the following week after I went back to the leasing office a second time. Well, that was a lovely 3 days of no bugs. The wrath of spiders came back twice as bad, they must of been pissed. They also brought their friends, the pincher bugs (earwigs). Guess where I went next, leasing office. This time I brought multiple pictures to prove I wasn't a crazy lady. Got put on the pest control list AGAIN, for the THIRD time. I'm starting to think the list is imaginary because it's been over 2 weeks and no bug man. Not to mention, these things crawl on the ceiling. The freakin CEILING! It's terrifying. I don't even feel safe in my own home anymore. I walk in the door with shoe in hand ready for battle.

Moral of the story, I don't want to be here anymore
