What’s there to do in Queens? For art connoisseurs, you’ll have to check out the various attractions in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Within that park, you’ll find most of the name brand attractions. You’ll find the Queens Museum of Art (QMA). Next to that is the Unisphere – an iconic metal globe that you’ve undoubtedly seen in many movies. Besides taking in the globe, you can hang-out, roller-blade, run, skate, BBQ some burgers, etc. For the sports enthusiasts, you may be able to wake up, roll out of your apartment and walk to the US Open tennis tournament which takes place at the USTA National Tennis center, also within the Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Or sport your Mets hat and watch them play at Citi Field. And if you’re into concerts tours, City Field is a common stopping ground for some of the biggest names in music. If you like beer gardens, Queens may just have one of the best in NYC. The Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden is a fun spot to take your friends and family especially on a beautiful summer day. And if your Queens apartment doesn’t have air conditioning, stop by the beloved Lemon Ice King of Corona at 108th and Corona.
