Kihei Town, Maui Hawaii is the perfect area for sun seekers. Temperatures range from 75°- 85°F and rainfall averages less than 12" per year. In general, Kihei accommodations are a bit smaller and more affordable than those in Wailea and Makena. The The Condos & Resorts get larger as you move south toward Wailea or away from the water.

Update: The air conditioning problem has improved quite a bit, with more access to cool air than before.  This change, in conjunction with the free yoga classes offered biweekly for residents, has led me to bump up my star rating to 5 for 215 West.  Well done, 215 West.

One thing that could improve is the relatively frequent shutting off of hot water during the daytime. what s the deal?  It seems too frequent for a new building to need such frequent repairs.  There has to be a way to perform those repairs overnight when 99.9% of people won t be needing hot water.

Jack Britt This a difficult area in which to find vacancies. But, as you probably expected, the demand for pads in this area is pretty high, and the prices are definitely a reflection of that. Expect to pay a hefty fee to settle down here, but trust us, you get what you pay for.

Haymount Haymount is full of historic properties and its location makes for quick commutes. The easy commutes keep your work week uncongested and your weekend options open.

We're always amazed at the space planning ideas we see in Apartment Therapy's annual "Small Cool" contest, so we're looking at the apartments of five previous contestants for inspiration

#1) Tony and Hilary's 3 in 1 Studio. In this apartment. a custom-made "pod" and loft bed defines the space. Inside and out, the pod contains shelving. Inside, there's an office and closet.
