#Getting Help at the Rental Housing Clinic: Michigan State University College of Law How do I contact the MSU College of Law Housing Law Clinic? During the law school academic year, the Clinic is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Clinic hours may vary, please call 517-336-8088, option 2, to schedule an appointment. Do I need to bring anything when I visit the Clinic? Yes. It will be helpful to bring copies of your lease or other documents, receipts, waivers, photographs, videos, court documents, or any other documentation that you may have that relates to the issue at hand. Who will I be talking to? Second- and third-year law students who have carefully studied Michigan law and local ordinances as they pertain to rental property. These students will be under the supervision of the Clinic Director and Assistant Clinical Professor, both admitted to the State Bar of Michigan. The law students staffing the Clinic are prepared to provide legal counseling, dispute resolution, and, if necessary, representation in court. Clinic staff maintains the confidentiality of information relating to each client's matter.
