I completely agree with Dominique R.'s review--she took all the words out of my mouth!  I have lived at The Ventana for almost 3 years now.  And if you start asking residents around, you find that many, many of them have been living here for many years.  The sheer number of people living here long-time is a testament to how good the place is. For me, it has continued to be a super-pleasant experience in all regards, or I wouldn't be here.

There is a great sense of community through the complex, and that includes the Leasing Office staff.  In the 3 years that I have been here they have been nothing but courteous and accommodating, and I have never received a curt or even indifferent response.

The staff will gladly work with your schedule when something needs repair in your unit, and if something needs urgent repair, they will immediately deal with it and finish the job well.

I completely disagree with the reviews that say Frank doesn't know what he's doing and that "he was a leasing agent and moved up because of changes. "   I took a while checking out places before I leased here, at least 6 months of research including site visits to different places.  Frank was a leasing agent back then and he worked hard to move up the ladder to first Assistant Manager and then Manager.  It is routine for people to "move up the corporate ladder" in most corporations, and it is not a hap-hazardous process done just to fill a hole.  Frank is knowledgeable and efficient.  And in the short time that Yolanda, the Assistant Manager has been here, I can tell already that she was the right choice and that she is a new great addition to the staff.  And all of the staff here is wonderful and efficient, including maintenance, not just the Leasing Office.

I will miss Jonathan very much, now that he has moved to Vegas to be with family.  He's a super nice guy like you can rarely find these days, and I am super-shocked to have read someone's post saying that Jonathan was prejudiced--that guy doesn't have a prejudiced or malicious bone in his body!

Yes, of course there are less expensive places to live.  And if you're not happy here, please, by all means, go live in one of those other places.  Because here it is nice to have happy, content, appreciative, community-oriented people who realize the value and want to be here.  That is what makes The Ventana great and gives me peace of mind to be here.
