Watergate Bay, Cornwall

Watergate Bay is simply stunning a fantastic long sandy beach which stretches for over two miles at low tide. Your first glimpse of the bay, as you come over the top of the hill, is likely to be one of your most memorable views in Cornwall.

Watergate is one of Newquay s biggest and most spectacular of beaches located just three miles out of town on the coast road towards Padstow. There s a handful of bars and restaurants and excellent beach facilities including a caf , shop, extreme sports hire and lessons including surfing, kite-surfing and kite buggying, plus lifeguards are on hand in the main summer season.
