You can see Palazzo Gamba in the right picture: it is the building on the corner, across the street from the facade of Florence Duomo (the Cathedral).

Cars and taxis are not required, as Palazzo Gamba is few minutes' walk from everywhere in the historical centre: the centrail rail station, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, Uffizi Gallery, and all museums, sights and monuments.

The penthouse suite comprises 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with Jacuzzi tub), 2 terraces with incomparable views over the Duomo and the city, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, oven and dishwasher, and living room with open fire place. It sleeps up to 6 persons.

All apartments are newly built and have air conditioning, satellite TV, direct dial telephones, heating, mini safe, hair dryers.

Guests with their own laptop can use dial-up Internet connection.

The view from the balconies of the penthouse suite is breathtaking. Yes, balconies. From one side you see the Duomo and the other, you get to overlook the city. There was a washer and dishwasher available with a full kitchen for your use.

A wonderful stay - being restricted by fussy children we could eat what they wanted to eat (!) and once they were asleep, we could watch Florentine life in the Duomo square all evening. We were having a swift weekend break (Fri-Sun) and the hotel was convenient enough that we could go back to the hotel to use the bathroom! The rooms were a good size and beautifully decorated. Wow! What an incredible location! The front door of the building is located 30 steps from the plaza of the Duomo (I counted them). We were a 10 minute walk from both the Uffizi in one direction and from the Academia in the other direction. The suite was comfortable, with enough space for our party of four.

I can't think of a more convenient location, literally right next to the Duomo. The value was unbeatable, and we would definitely stay here again!

Vip Florence - Giotto Apartment is an exquisite apartment in central Florence, sleeping up to 4 people, very close to the Cathedral, with four windows facing the stunning Medici Chapels.

The flat is few yards from the beautiful church of San Lorenzo and a couple of blocks from Florence central railway station.

Vip Florence - Giotto Apartment is on the third floor of a building (without lift, but they'll have your luggage carried up) built in the 1200s by a successful mosaic artist, and it is full of artistic touches.

It consists of a large living room with a sofa that can turn into a very comfortable double bed; a dining area with a round table seating 4 people and an original 19th century fireplace; a large double bedroom with a nice reading corner and a dressing room leading to the bathroom; a new kitchen with gas stove, fridge, dishwasher; a luxury bathroom with shower.

The apartment has, among other facilities, TV, central heating and individually controlled air conditioning.

A precious service in central Florence, the flat has its own garage.

In Centro - Pinti Apartment is an apartment sleeping 4 or 6 people in the very centre of Florence, in Borgo Pinti, extremely close to the cathedral or Duomo.

Borgo Pinti, the flat's location, is an important, old street of the historic center. Nowadays it connects the Volto di S. Piero , near the Duomo, to the ring of Viali, tree-lined 19th century boulevards which circle Florence centre and are now where the old city walls were once standing.

In Centro - Pinti Apartment is a ground floor apartment, quiet and full of light. Carefully renovated, the apartment consists of two parts, connected by a loggia opening onto a small charming courtyard of exclusive use of the flat, with a 17th-century fountain.

The first part comprises entrance hall, double bedroom as separate section of the living room (queen bed), living/dining room, kitchen corner, bathroom with shower.

The second part is on two levels, and comprises living room with single sofa-bed, bathroom with bathtub, loft with double bed (can be set apart to have two single beds) and single sofa-bed.

Facilities include heating, fridge/freezer, TV.
