Please note that applications can only be submitted for currently available apartments.  Applications are not kept on file to reserve apartments as they become available.

Before you apply

Before you begin filling out the application please note that for your application to be valid you will need to provide:

• a good, verifiable rental history
• a good, verifiable credit history
• evidence that the rent amount of the apartment you are interested in is less than or equal to 40% of your gross monthly income
• evidence that you are 18 years old or older

Steps to apply

1. Download and print the Rental Application Form  and the Release Form
2. Fill out both documents completely. Incomplete forms will not be accepted for review.  If you have questions while you are completing the form, please call 860-942-8340.
3. Bring completed forms to our office during regular business hours or mail it.  Regular business hours are 9:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. Monday Friday or mail it to Deer Park Apartments Care of Housing Consultants, LLC 560 Main St. Willimantic, CT 06226
4. When you bring your completed application and release form to our office, you will also need
   • a license or other form of photo ID
   • a recent pay stub
5. With your application, you ll need to submit a $35 application fee per adult on the application.  The fee must be submitted by check or money order made of to Deer Park Apartments, LLC.  In other words, if you are applying for an apartment with another adult, you will need to submit a $70 application fee.

After you apply

Our application review process typically takes between 1-3 business days (Monday Friday, no holidays), during which we conduct credit, rental history, and background checks.  Once the application has been reviewed, we will contact you to let you know whether it has been accepted or denied.

• If your application is accepted, a check for the first month s rent will be needed in order to secure the apartment.
• If your application is denied, the application fee will not be refunded.

If your application is accepted, you will need to submit half of your first month s rent as a deposit to hold the apartment.
