Before opening the agency, Paul was a District Sales Manager for Erie Insurance working with over 30 different agencies in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia. Paul moved with his wife Kami and two children Abbie and Ellie to Fuquay-Varina, NC after Kami took a teaching job with Wake County Public School System in Holly Springs.

In October 2010, Paul moved the agency into his home so he could focus on providing superior customer service.
