Petrin Hill offers beautiful views of Prague and several attractions for adults and children alike. The hill is easily recognizable by the TV tower that is a miniature of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Take the funicular railway to the top of the hill where you can climb the tower, visit the observatory, or just stroll through the beautiful, fragrant rose garden - a real treat!

On a hill overlooking the city, Prague Castle is one of the most ancient castles in the world. Constructed in the 9th century, the castle transformed itself from a wooden fortress to the imposing form it has today. Prague castle keeps its classical facelift it took on in the 18 century during the reign of Maria Theresa. It is the official residence of the president. Simply magnificent.

No visit to Prague is complete without a visit or two to the magnificent Old Town Square. Every time the Astronomical Clock strikes the exact hour, the history of the square goes back to the 10th century, when the place was one of the favourite market places in the developing town of Prague. Nowadays the square is filled with tourists, terraces, restaurants, cafés, souvenir shops and galleries.

The Dancing House, also nicknamed the Fred and Ginger building, is a strikingly modern contrast to Prague's historic attractions. Look closely and you can actually see a couple – woman and man dancing together, holding their hands, with a skirt that sways to the music. Words can't describe it. You have got to see it!

Prague Holiday Accommodation

During your stay in Prague (hopefully in one of our great apartments), you will no doubt cross the famous Charles Bridge on several occasions. The bridge is 516 metres long and nearly 10 metres wide, resting on 16 arches shielded by ice guards. The bridge is decorated with 30 statues, most of them Baroque style, erected around 1700. A fantastic place to stroll amongst the artists and street vendors.

The Jewish Museum in Prague has one of the most extensive collections of Jewish art, textiles and silver in the world. There are 40,000 exhibits and 100,000 books. The collection is unique, everything in the museum was gathered from Bohemia and Moravia and evokes the Jewish history and a valuable heritage for the present Czech Republic.

Holiday Apartments in Prague

If you feel tired of the crowds in the centre of Prague, just a few steps away from Wenceslas Square you will find picturesque Franciscan Garden, an oasis of calm. With lots of seating and pretty flowerbeds, it will make you forget that you're close to the busiest streets of Prague. This lovely garden near the Church of Virgin Mary Snow was built in 1348 during the reconstruction of New Town.
