Premier Apartments Bristol Redcliffe (England) - Condominium Reviews

This apartment complex reminded me a little of the hire car I got on holiday. Looked great in the brochure, but in reality it was a little less than perfect. The location is good, close to Queens Square and the harbour side area and very near the Temple Meads station. We had a roo facing the road and the comments passed by other reviews that it could get very noisy at night didn't come to anything. The complex car park was fully booked but we were told that there was ample parking nearby. That did worry me a little as the last place we stayed that said that we're very correct, and the reason that on street parking was so available was that if you left your car there over I got all you would find in the morning would be the hub caps. On this occasion though my fears were groundless. We parked on the road for two days and two night with no issue. You do, of course have to pay, £4 for four hours and free between 6pm and 8 am and all day on Sunday. That said there is a cheaper car park about two minutes walk away which had I know I would have used.

The apartments have pretty much all you need, including dish washer, and washing machine with a full range of utensils, pots and pans. Ours was two bed and had four of pretty much everything. The bedrooms and bathroom were fairly spacious and the living room was a little small for four of us. Nice terrace as we were on the top floor with the rooms below having small balconies.

The downside, well, a little TLC would go a long way. The kitchen cupboard doors didn't fit properly, the was a nasty gap between the bedroom window sill and the wall. Our bedroom had a built in wardrobe and a free standing one but no drawer space save that provided by the bedside tables, while the second bedroom had drawers but no wardrobe space or hanging space at all.

I can't say the sleep quality was good as the mattress was sagged in the middle and was not particularly comfy.

Yes, I know, small things and considering the amount of time you spent inside when you are away for a weekend, not deal breakers by any means, but we have used other apartments nearby and the quality of accommodation was much better, much nicer, for a comparable price.

In short, if you are going to use an apartment over a hotel, shop around and compare the options.
