Oh how I loved living at The Buckingham. Hands down the best apartments I lived in on LaSalle (and I lived in 3 different buildings on that street). The management is so nice and the building is beautiful. The apartments vary (but they were all nice), I looked at a few when I first moved there. I ended up living in a beautiful studio with an awesome walk in closet with a built in dresser. It also had an alcove with shelves that were perfect for a TV and books and stuff.

First to Review

Truly nice place to live downtown.  Rent is quite reasonable for what you get, and they do yeoman s service in keeping the building free of sketch factor.  The building is family-owned, and it shows.  The swimming pool and hot tub are perfect for winters.  If the building was connected to the Skyway, I could spend most of the winter without ever going outside.

The Buckingham Apartments is a family-owned and operated business. The owners and management are motivated to make you feel welcome in your home. They employ a professional and experienced staff to address your needs as tenants.

A restaurant and ballroom were once located in the lower level, and a limo service and laundry service (not included today) were available to serve hotel guests and visiting celebrities.

Today this 130 unit building has been refurbished into an attractive apartment complex. It features studios, efficiencies, 1 bedroom and 1 bedroom suite apartments.
