The only ASK I am aware of in Bristol is on Park Street, and they have definitely ensured I want to go back! Lovely interiors, wooden floors and open beams with white walls, the restaurant feel fresh as well as cosy.

My group were seated upstairs, we were a large party (15) but despite our rowdiness the staff were very attentive. I had the ciabatta with olive oil and balsamic vinegar (it s on the side orders but I requested it as a starter) the bread was warmed and there was just enough vinegar to dip all my bread sufficiently! My friend started with the prawns, the sauce was lovely and it was a really good size for a starter.

My second course was the Fruitti de Mar Risotto, lots of king prawns, mussels, cockles and squid in a beautifully cooked risotto which left me wanting more! A very popular choice at the table was the calzone, a great mix of spices with a real kick to it!

I was very pleasantly surprised by my trip to ASK as I had been to the restaurant in other cities before, the menu has grown a lot and it was hard to choose my courses -  I want to go back and try more! Good value, good service and a nice atmosphere.
