Listing Your Home

Windermere Professional Partners Property Management (WPPPM) will be offering rental services to homeowners during the US Open at Chambers Bay Golf Course in June of 2015. WPPPM is not affiliated in any way with the USGA or Chambers Bay Golf Course. During the Tournament, every spectator must have a ticket to gain access to the event. WPPPM has no ability to provide tickets for the US Open Championship Tournament and the acquisition of tickets is the sole responsibility of the individual.

DATES OF PLAY. The 2015 US Open at Chambers Bay will be played June 15th through June 21st, 2015. Practice Rounds are Monday June 15th, Tuesday June 16th, and Wednesday June 17th. Tournament Play will be Thursday June 18th, Friday June 19th, Saturday June 20th, and Sunday June 21st. If a playoff round is needed it will be played Monday June 22nd, 2015.

WHY SHOULD I RENT MY HOME?

The US Open is one of the largest and oldest sporting events in the United States. People from all over the world come to compete or watch the event. The City of University Place has exactly ZERO hotel rooms and there are very few hotels/motels in the immediate area. There is a definite need for housing near Chambers Bay.

HOW MUCH RENT CAN I EXPECT TO GET FOR MY HOME?

Rental prices are determined by the size of the home, number of amenities, and most important, location of the home, the closer to Chambers Bay (or easy transportation), the higher the asking price. Initially, Homeowners will determine the listing rate they'd like to ask for the rental of their home. WPPPM will provide a suggested rental rate for a guideline but it will be your choice as to what amount you want to list your home.

HOW WILL YOU MARKET MY HOME?

WPPPM has done extensive research on ways to effectively market your home for rent. In addition to having front page presence on most internet search engines, we will also specifically market our available homes to sponsoring corporations, international hospitality agencies, media outlets, and organizations representing golfers playing in the US Open Championship Tournament. WPPPM and chambersbayhousing.com is affiliated with Windermere Professional Partners, the highest producing residential real estate brokerage in Pierce County. Our agents will actively promote homes for rent throughout the local real estate community and in many other circles not easily accessible to the general public.

WHAT ARE THE FEES TO LIST AND RENT MY HOME?

There will be a one-time charge of $250 to list your home for rent on chambersbayhousing.com. When we find a renter for your home the fee is 30% of the rental amount.
