So far my experience here has been very positive. I wake up early (6:15) on weekdays and go for a swim in the indoor pool -- there s usually one other person at most there, also doing laps. It s a great way to start the day.

The apartment itself is very posh -- we re in the 1051 National Ave. building. The airplane noise hasn t bothered me inside the apartment; you get used to it pretty quickly. When outside (mostly walking to BART), it can be annoying however. There are such great amenities here though -- the gym, pool, media room, and the apartment itself -- that I find myself staying inside a lot anyway (which might sound like a bad thing but really isn t).

The staff has been quite helpful as well. Any time a problem or question has come up, it s been fixed or answered within 24 hours, usually much quicker.

This is my first year here and after reading all the reviews, I am quite worried about the rent increase as the starting rent was near my upper limit already. As far as the rent I m paying right now however, I can say that I feel it s worth it; it s very relaxing to come home to what feels like a high-end hotel at the end of a long day at work.
